Terms of Service

By creating an account or using lowk, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use lowk.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally permitted to use the service. If applicable law requires parental consent for a minor to use lowk, that consent must be obtained before use.

lowk presents recurring positive polls, allows users to privately vote for a limited number of individual friends, and delivers an anonymous flame to a user when they are picked.

One-way votes are private. A flame notifying a registered user that someone picked them is anonymous and does not identify the voter. The recipient may unlock partial hints only through in-app reveal mechanics they control. Features, polls, limits, and availability may change as the service develops.

You must provide accurate information, maintain control of your phone number and device, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You may not create accounts for another person, evade restrictions, or misuse verification systems.

Authentication codes are requested by you and delivered through third-party providers. Message and data rates may apply.

You may select contacts only for lowk's intended personal, noncommercial use. You may not upload purchased lists, scrape phone numbers, use Invite All functionality, or use lowk for bulk outreach.

Before requesting a one-time invitation, you represent that you personally know the recipient, have the recipient's prior permission to send the invitation, and have selected that recipient individually. Invitations may not be sent for compensation, rewards, credits, discounts, or other incentives.

You may not use lowk to harass, deceive, threaten, embarrass, or repeatedly contact another person.

Consent to receive an invitation is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. Receiving one invitation does not enroll the recipient in recurring messages or authorize unrelated communications.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability, filtering, and applicable law.

You may not use lowk unlawfully; impersonate another person; submit information you do not have the right to use; reverse engineer or disrupt the service; probe security controls; automate account or voting activity; or attempt to discover another user's private one-way votes.

We may restrict or terminate accounts and suppress invitations when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

lowk, including its software, visual identity, polls, and service content, is owned by TallyHQ, Inc. or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, nontransferable right to use the service.

If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, while we continue to handle personal information under our Privacy Policy.

lowk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, TallyHQ disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

lowk does not guarantee that another person will join, respond, or pick you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TallyHQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the service.

You may stop using lowk and request account deletion at any time. We may modify or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will receive notice when required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
