Consumer product: lowk. lowk’s toll-free number sends one kind of message: a one-time login verification code, delivered by SMS only after a person enters their own phone number in the lowk app and taps Continue. This page is the public record of exactly how that consent is collected.

Both screens below are from the lowk app. The person enters their own phone number on the sign-in screen (step 1), where the disclosure appears directly above the Continue button, then receives a single code to confirm they own that number (step 2). Nothing is sent until they tap Continue.

- User initiates
- No code is ever sent unprompted. A person enters their own phone number and taps Continue to request a one-time login code.
- Own number only
- Each person enters only their own number to sign in. There is no way to trigger a code to anyone else, and no contact-book upload.
- Transactional only
- This number sends one-time login verification codes and nothing else. No marketing, promotional, recurring, or bulk messages.
- One code per request
- Each sign-in attempt produces at most one code. There is no drip, reminder, or follow-up message.
- Clear disclosure
- At the point of entry the screen states that a one-time authentication text will be sent, that message and data rates may apply, and that this is not consent to marketing or recurring messages.
- Identified sender
- Every message is branded lowk so the recipient knows who sent the code and why.
- Honored opt-out
- Reply STOP to suppress the number immediately and permanently. Reply HELP to reach support at arul@tally.kitchen.
- Number stays private
- The phone number is used only to verify the account and is never sold or shared with third parties.

The toll-free number operated by TallyHQ, Inc. for lowk is dedicated to one-time login verification codes. It does not send invitations, marketing, promotions, reminders, or any recurring messages. Consent collected at sign-in is used only to deliver the login code the person requested, and the phone number is never sold or shared with third parties.
